working on a team with a common sense of purpose toward an objective that is more than monetary or personal gain.
Who is someone you admire and why?
I admire my mom. She completely reinvented herself in her retirement years, became a pastor, and is a servant leader in her community.
What personal accomplishment brings you the most pride or joy?
I feel great joy when someone compliments my wife and me on the maturity and behavior of our teenage son and daughter after observing them interacting with others outside of our presence.
What lesson from the past has helped shape who you are today?
I learned the importance of work ethic from my father, who was a commercial fisherman. Making a living from the sea requires planning, resolve, intelligence, and stamina. These traits serve well in most any worthwhile endeavor.
What is something about you that might surprise most people?
One of my all-time favorite movies is Friday. "Bye Felisha!"

A dog. I try to please people. (...and I like to pee outside)
